“It all begins with an idea”

I went to school in Ottawa, Canada to pursue a degree in Law. After graduating in 2019, I was not sure what my future plans were. Was I to go to Law School to become a lawyer? Should I find a job in the Government? Or find anything that would allow me to have the freedom to be creative and travel?

In early 2020, after just graduating, I was trying to figure that out. Then the world shut down and we were all forced to change how our daily lives work. I was working at law firms, helping people, yet, it didn’t feel fulfilling.

I started Clay by Kails as a way to find my creative outlook. Over the past 3 years, I have been working on perfecting my craft. Although my jewelry has gotten better over the years, there are so many new techniques that I look forward to learning.
